The first thing to check is the software to see if it has a built-in recording feature, then you can move forward. If Action VoIP lacks this feature, you can take advantage of the already developed applications ready for sound recording.
For that to happen, you also have to enable Stereo Mix. Right click the sound icon on the system tray, and go to Recording. Right click inside the window and select Show Disabled Devices. Right click again Stereo Mix and enable it.
Install Audacity, then select Stereo Mix in the recording menu, place a call and then press on the Record button and you can save the file as WAV, MP3, OGG, etc.
There is also a manual you can check to learn more about various options.
I have recently visited its official webpage and it works just fine. All the links, including download link, buy link as well as log-in link works well. According to the information released on the Internet, the site was discontinued, because it was under updating. Therefore, you can go and do whatever you need to do on its official website.
There have been problems with a version that failed to update. The solution is simple. Visit the official website and download the new updated version and update your previously installed one without the need to remove it first. Just make sure it's closed from the system tray.
If you have a Mac OS, go to the Task manager and end the application if it's opened and running.
You can use any application that can record sound through the soundcard of your system. When you place a call everything, is delivered to your soundcard making it easy to record it. You can use SoundTap Streaming Audio Recorder for this purpose.
When I am trying to log-in on ActionVoip is says: "Sorry, the version of the client is invalid, please download new version or perform a live update" but I am trying to update from this location and it's showing that the site is blocked. Please help me!
Visit ActionVoip interface and log in with your username and password. You can access MyAccount and change the email address because there is no way retrieve the one you used unless you contact Support team.
I have used ActionVoip for quite a few months. Suddenly, I was unable to use my VoIP service. I was told that sometimes Windows Vista is not supporting VoIP services. Is it true? Can I use VoIP services with Windows Vista?

The program is fully compatible with Windows 7. Your problem may have other causes. First you need to make sure that you have correctly connected your microphone/headsets to the computer. Also, make sure that you have installed the latest version of the audio driver and the headsets driver (if one is required). Also, you can update the software to the latest version available. By doing this, some compatibility issues might be solved. To do that, you can visit Software Informer's application web page to obtain a download link for the latest version or visit the following official website.
I suggest you try visiting the following FAQ web page for more information regarding the software.

You can update to version 4.14 using the direct download URL available from the official website. However, if you cannot access the website due to various reasons, try using the direct download URL: http://download.actionvoip.com/setupActionvoip.exe
You can perform an installation over your old one. Only the newer files will be updated.

How to copy the history to either a mobile or laptop?
The application does not have export functions built-in. This means that you can't export the history messages, calls, etc. to other format.
